Setup Vars
Edit application variables. Secret fields can be revealed or copied. Save, then restart NeonMail to apply changes.
Saved values override environment variables. With MongoDB connected, settings are encrypted in the database; file mode uses .neonmail-vars.json. Configure MONGODB_URI and MONGODB_DB in Hostinger, and keep the encryption key unchanged.

Owner credentials
The bcrypt hash belongs in NEONMAIL_ADMIN_PASSWORD_HASH. Raw admin passwords are never stored in NeonMail files.
Mailbox passwords and OAuth tokens remain encrypted in each profile and are revealed only when you explicitly open an account export.
